Set: Friday 6th December
Homework this week is to prepare for next Thursday’s DT Day where you will all be making a nativity scene in a box. So I would like you to sketch some detailed ideas on paper and gather some of the materials that you will need to bring in. Use the drawing to show what will be in your box and what it will be made of. It should be clearly labelled. You should then try to find as many of these things at home and bring them in with you on Tuesday 10th December, so we can check. You might bring in a box, preferably a shoe box, but other materials could include: string, fabric, toilet rolls, silver foil, googly eyes, twigs, straw, eggboxes. Some of you might be more adventurous and create an independent, stand alone structure... It’s up to you!
Don't forget, there's always Mathletics which from now on should be completed by the following TUESDAY (not Monday as it has been up to now.
Finally you must learn the words to Winter Carol which we will be singing at Carols by Candlelight on Thursday 19th December.
The children have been asked to prepare and then deliver an oral book review - see the schedule below. There is a template for them to complete in their Homework Books one week in advance of their date.
Max, Michael and Felix are the final three.
